The Winter Session project was a pilot program, the first of its kind at the University of Louisville. The session took place over the winter break, starting on December 13, 2017 and ending on January 4, 2018.
The overall goal for the Winter Session mixed media advertising campaign was to generate enrollments across 30 distinctive online courses offered by various colleges and schools within the university, from arts & sciences and business to education & human development and social work.
The goal was to emphasize the benefit of taking classes over the break by highlighting the speed "The classes really fly by" and a way to get ahead on coursework "Seize the Break".
Results: The marketing and advertising campaign for the Winter Session pilot program at the University of Louisville generated over 600 online course registrations with a total of 1,830 credit hours earned. Registrations covered three main course types: 56% Major/Programmatic and 44% General Education.
